If your application isn't moving, it's because you haven't contacted us.]</FONT><br><br>Hello, and thanks for your interest in joining Temerity.<br><br>As some of you may have been told, our recruiting process has been undergoing a major change of late, and many of you have been patiently waiting to hear back from us. Thanks for your continued tolerance of our delays.<br><br>Things are starting to settle down, and the recruiting machine is moving again, albeit slowly.<br><br>While we do not have any concrete requirements for membership as yet, your chances of being accepted as a member of Temerity are much better if:<br><ul><li>You are the "main" character on the account, and are unguilded at the time of your application.</li><br><li>You play your main character, and rarely play twinks. We are looking for high level people, and twinks hurt the guild, although a little R&R is necessary.</li><br><li>The other characters on your account are unguilded, or are Temerity members.</li><br><li>You are of a minimum experience level of 30-35.</li></ul><br><br>As it currently stands, our recruiting process goes something like this:<br><br>1 - Get a guild member to sponsor your application. Your sponsor need not be one of the committe members, but they should be someone who knew you before you start the membership process. Simply walking up to a random guild member and asking them to sponsor you is a bad idea.<br><br>2 - Fill out an application here indicating your interest in joining. Introduce yourself. Tell us a little bit about who you are and why you would like to join. Do you have anything special to offer Temerity? Does Temerity have something to offer you?<br><br>3 - After you apply, be active. Try to meet up with all of the Recruiting Committee members (Eadan, Guano, Jael, Nikolai and Zatrik) and at least talk with us. We are trying to meet you, too, but sometimes we get sidetracked by silly things like raids, xp and item gathering, and hunting groups.<br><br>4 - We'll try to make a decision on your application within a week of your posting. But, we may have to extend the decision period in order for enough members to get to know you. If you think you have been forgotten, don't sit around in the dark. Ask one of us (politely) about the status of your application.<br><br>For those of you who have posted here, your applications have been received, and are under consideration by the Recruiting Committee. We should be in contact with you within a week of your application. If you want to expedite things, make an effort to send a tell to one of us (Eadan, Guano, Jael, Nikolai and Zatrik) so we can talk or group with you to make our decision easier.<br><br>As we finalize our application process and requirements, one of us will post here with more information<br><br>Temerity members: Please refrain from commenting on the candidates' applications here.
