So what's it take to become evil?

Hi, most of you know me as Rider on EQMac, some of you know me as Pazuzu in game. As many of the old Dark Conquest folks are doing, I as well have chosen to leave and move on. I won't go into detail about what happened with Dark Conquest, but basically I feel they can no longer fill my needs from a guild. I was in The Horde before I joined Dark Conquest, and left for the same reason as I am leaving now. I have good standings with both guilds in leaving.<br /><br />I first started EQ a week or so before beta ended, somewhere mid June, bought EQ June 25th, and after playing a few different classes finally settled back on my beta character, Magician. Pazuzu was born August 25th, and for a few weeks played as an alt, until I abandoned my shaman to play him full time. I basically soloed my way up to 51, from there continued to solo a good bit with a few PoD/PoN groups to get through tough levels. He currently is level 56 with Run Speed 3, and I intend to bring him to 61 then continue his AAs. I know my role in groups/raids and am knowledgeable in my class, I also continue to study my class at Mage's Tower as well as other aspects of the game.<br /><br />I've basically never missed a raid, I know of like 2 raids that I missed while in Dark Conquest, one I did not know happened, the other a Kael raid I felt wasn't necessary to attend. I'll be looking out for the recruiters to talk to all this week as well.<br /><br /><br />Forgot to list my play times. Currently they are horrible, 8AM to 6PM, though soon they should change to more raid friendly times. The play times are out of my hands due to RL, I'm doing all I can to get back into raiding, but for now most I can do is grind unless theres an early raid.<br /><br /><br />--------------------------<br>

We seem to be doing some of the long raids early on a Saturday or Sunday, so it will probably mean missing a LOT of the regular rotation but you'll be able to make it for 8 hours of Chardok or ... oh let's say clearing PofHate and killing Cazic-Thule.<br />

Followup on friday's raid.<br /><br />First off, thanks for letting me attend this raid and putting up with my thoughtless death in AC. I felt very good about what happened, not only am I impressed with Temerity's organization and determination, but also felt that I was getting to know some of the members more and getting along with them.<br /><br />There is likely some thought as to why some of us DC folks are joining, I can't speak for any other applicants, but my reasons for leaving are very clear. I feel as though I no longer fit in with Dark Conquest, I feel my place is now with Temerity. I am in this game to make my character as badass as I can, take down huge targets, there is nothing in any game that impresses me more than seeing dozens of members killing something huge. I want to not only raid for items, those are important parts of character growth, I mainly want to see the tier progression in person and with my own guild. What I am not doing this for is: phat lewt (I'm sure it'll come and I wont decline any<img src="/forums/images/gpicons/face_wink.gif">, hopping guild to guild (not moving from guild to guild because its the 'next step'), or because I am enraged with any Dark Conquest members (still consider many, if not all, of them as friends, I am cool headed about the situation and still I am set on Temerity). Just wanted folks to know where I am coming from and what my intentions are.<br /><br />Hopefully everyone can understand where I am coming from, and hope to see you in /gu very soon.
