Boycotting Misty

In case you haven't met her yet, Misty is a trader in the Bazaar who has an extremely large inventory of overpriced goods. Very few of her goods she has gotten for herself. Her standard M.O. is to purchase goods from other traders in the Bazaar, and then proceed to mark them up by an ridiculously large margin.

I can't say I object to this practice, as it is standard free-market capitalism. So, until now, I have been simply avoiding purchasing anything from Misty, knowing I can get it elsewhere cheaper.

Recent events have caused me to reconsider my position. Misty has been spreading a number of falsehoods about my guild in the eqmac.com public forums. When she has been caught in her outright lies, she has backpedaled, offered excuses and even gloated about how gullible people (not just Temerity) are.

In response to her behavior, I encourage you to boycott her. Do not purchase anything from her, no matter how tempting it appears. If it is something you must absolutely have, let me know, and I will arrange to get it for you for a lower price than Misty is offering it.

This is not a guild offer, this is not a guild policy. This is my personal offer. However, if others join me in this boycott, I am convinced we can use the strength of the EQ Mac community to drive Misty out of business.

Because this is our public forum Gnat, and I think Nikolai wanted to make public his policy regarding Misty. Nothing wrong with that, or Wrog posting.

I read this post and I have to say that the person who wrote it has some juvenile tendencies of their own. With out going into much of my personal RL back ground, trust me when I say that it is useless to expect anything progressive out of individuals like the one who writes under the name Misty.

Boycott her but do not entertain any discussion about her or with her as this is ultimately useless and a waste of your time.
